In 2021, Volpe played for the Tampa Tarpons of the Florida State League. He batted .294 with 12 home runs and 71 RBIs in 109 games. He was named a Florida State League All-Star and was selected to play in the MLB All-Star Futures Game for the second time.

Volpe started the 2022 season with the Somerset Patriots of the Double-A Northeast League. In 93 games, he batted .298 with 16 home runs and 61 RBIs. He was promoted to the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders of the Triple-A International League in August.
